Stop Thinking Your Way to Purpose. Start Feeling.
Have you been searching for your purpose in all the loud places, with the marketing influencers with their do it all strategies? What if it’s been waiting for you in your own quiet space? In the wisdom of your own body. In the pulse beneath your ribs. In the truth your bones have been holding.
There’s a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from trying to think your way to purpose.
You read the books. You do the journaling prompts. You make the lists and vision boards and five-year plans. And still, something feels just out of reach. Like you’re speaking a language that isn’t quite yours. Like you’re performing a version of yourself that looks right on paper but doesn’t feel true in your chest.
What if I told you that your Why, the thing that makes you come alive, the offering only you can bring, the truth you’ve been circling isn’t something you need to figure out?
What if it’s something you need to feel?
Your body has been trying to tell you. In the flutter when you encounter certain ideas. In the expansion when you do the work that’s actually yours. In the contraction when you’re forcing something that isn’t. In the quiet, insistent pulse that says yes, this or no, not that.
But we’ve been taught to override these signals. To trust the strategy over the stirring. To follow the plan instead of the pull. To stay in our heads where it’s safe and familiar, even when our hearts are screaming for attention.
The practice: listening in the dark soil
Imagine this: beneath winter’s quietest moment, when everything looks dead and dormant, seeds are dreaming themselves alive in the dark. They don’t rush. They don’t force. They simply rest in the fertile soil, gathering what they need, until the conditions are right for breaking ground. You are that seed.
This practice invites you into a profoundly Yin space, not passive, but deeply receptive. A place where you stop pushing, stop performing, stop trying to figure it all out. Where you let your body become a listening vessel.
In Movement Medicine, this is where we practice the art of deep listening beneath the surface, tuning into the quiet signals your body has been sending while you’ve been too busy to notice. This is intimate listening. Listening without agenda. Listening with your whole self: bones, breath, belly, heartbeat. Interoception, the inner sense.
And when we give ourselves permission to be still and receptive, magic happens. The seed sends out its first roots. A shape begins to form in the imaginal realm. A feeling, a colour, a sensation, a whisper rises. Something that was always there suddenly becomes felt.
In this quiet, fertile space, you may discover:
~ The first hint of your next offering, the one that’s been trying to get your attention
~ A truth rising from your heart that changes everything
~ Crystal clarity about what no longer fits (and the relief of finally admitting it)
~ The courage to be seen in a new way, fully, messily, magnificently you
~ The resurfacing of an old dream you thought you’d lost
“To become nobody but yourself, that is a fight worth having. To become oneself by finding a way to contribute one’s talents and natural genius to this troubled world; that is the job to keep applying for. The real work in this life is not simply to succeed and ‘become somebody’; the real issue is to become one’s intended self.”
~ Michael Meade
This is your invitation home
This isn’t another goal-setting exercise. This isn’t about hustling your way to clarity or forcing an answer from the void. This is a homecoming.
A free full-hour Movement Medicine® journey that takes you beneath thought, beneath strategy, beneath all the shoulds and supposed-tos, and into the wild, wise intelligence of your body where your Why has been alive and waiting all along.
In this immersive hour of music, movement, and deep body listening, you’ll:
~ Drop beneath the noise into the older, truer knowing that lives in your bones, the part of you that remembers who you are when nobody’s watching
~ Feel the early stirrings of what wants to be born through you, even if it doesn’t have words yet, even if it feels wild or strange or completely different from what you thought
~ Meet the tender, brave parts that have been longing to be seen and finally give them the space and permission they’ve been craving
~ Discover what’s actually yours to offer to the world not what looks good or makes sense, but what makes your whole body light up with aliveness
~ Come home to your purpose not as a concept to understand, but as a felt sense, a resonance, a deep cellular YES
A heart alive with shooting stars under the skin. A whisper becoming a roar: I am here. I am alive. See me in all my colours.
Why your body knows what your mind doesn’t
Here’s what nobody tells you about finding your purpose: you can’t think your way there.
Your Why doesn’t live in your head. It lives in the rush of aliveness when you’re doing the thing that’s truly yours. In the full-body YES. In the quiet certainty that rises from your belly, not your brain.
Before anything becomes visible on the outside, it begins here: in stillness, in sensation, in intuition, in the tender place where movement meets meaning.
In my Embodied Brand work, we always begin with inner landscape awareness. Before we explore communication or visibility (the Yang expression), we listen to the pulse of soul purpose underneath. Our Yin space.
Because here’s the truth: Visibility without roots is just noise. But when you know your Why in your bones, your voice carries a different kind of power.
Why I created this practice (and why I’m offering it to you)
For years, I treated visibility like most people do, as an outward action. A kind of showing or declaring. I thought if I could just get the messaging right, nail the strategy, present myself correctly, then being seen would feel safe. Natural. Easy.
But every time I tried to step forward, something in me would contract. Freeze. Pull back.
It wasn’t until I dropped into my body, into the Yin practice of deep listening that I understood: visibility’s true foundation isn’t out there. It’s in here. In the honest self-reflection. In meeting the tender places that fear being seen. In receiving myself fully before asking anyone else to receive me.
When I finally softened into this receptive space, visibility stopped being about performance and became about authenticity.
And I realized something else: true visibility is a kind of birth.
It brings resistance and doubt alongside wonder and excitement. It asks us to welcome everything that rises with compassionate witness. Often, the desire to be seen touches something ancient in us: a place that didn’t receive enough love, space, or understanding when we were young and tender.
When this happens (and it does happen, for all of us), we can turn toward the archetypal Great Mother, toward the Earth herself, and ask for support. For courage. For nourishment and grounding as we bring ourselves forth.
This is why I’m often called a Brand Doula. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it’s like to stand at this threshold. I know the tenderness of it. The courage it takes. And I’ve learned how to accompany others through this passage with the same soft, steady support I wish I’d had.
This practice came to me during Imbolc, the threshold between winter’s deepest dark and spring’s first breath. The moment when the earth whispers her first sparks of light beneath the snow, when something that seemed dead suddenly stirs with secret life.
We’re invited to do the same. To listen in the dark. To soften. To sense the early stirrings of what wants to emerge through us, not because we forced it, but because we finally made space to birth it.

How this works
1. Creating your space
~ Clear your space, physically and energetically, so you can move freely and safely. Claim a full, uninterrupted hour as sacred time (plus space for integration after).
~ Read the downloaded PDF first and let the reflection questions settle in your awareness. Keep your journal close for whatever wants to be caught in words.
~ Wear something that feels comfortable, that lets you move freely and safely.
~ Take three deep breaths. Let your shoulders drop. You’re here now.
2. When listening to the audio session
~ Surrender to the music, let it guide your body into its own ancient truth. Move however your body wants to move: wild or slow, big or subtle, graceful or awkward
~ Listen first to your body, do not push your own movement and ability. This is not a performance. Nobody is watching. Your body knows the way, there is no right or wrong.
~Awaken yourself, part by part, toes to crown, fingertips to spine. Let movement become medicine. Let medicine become revelation.
3. After the session
~ If it resonates, place your hands on your heart and thank your body for its wisdom. Take your time to land back and open the space for reflection.
~ While it’s still alive in you, write whatever came through. Don’t edit. Don’t explain. Just catch it. Welcome the unexpected, the strange, the sideways answer. Trust this moment even if it feels a bit strange and new.
When the practice opens a door
Sometimes you do this practice and everything clicks into place. The fog clears. You know exactly what’s next. The path lights up in front of you and you’re off.
And sometimes, maybe more often, it’s subtler than that.
A door cracks open. A question forms that you didn’t know you had. Something stirs that isn’t quite ready to be named but definitely wants more attention. A clarity that feels tender and needs gentle support to take form.
If anything rises in you after this journey, I’m here.
If there’s a stirring that wants gentle tending, a knowing that needs to be spoken into shape, or confusion that deserves compassionate witnessing, you don’t have to hold it alone.
This is what I do. I walk alongside people through these tender thresholds, the places where soul purpose wants to become visible expression, where embodied knowing reaches for language, where the whisper wants to become a voice.
If this is the case, let’s explore working together, just book a private session with me here. A spacious, intuitive, deeply held container for whatever is emerging
Or maybe you just need to sit with what came through. To let it compost. To trust the timing of your own unfolding.
That’s perfect too.
The seed is already planted. You’ve said yes to listening. That’s the bravest thing. Now we trust the earth to do what earth does best: bring forth life in its own wild time.
